Epilepsy Training Course

Who is it for?

The Epilepsy Training Course is for residential or domiciliary care workers who care for vulnerable people.

Epilepsy Training Course Content:

  • aetiology and diagnosis
  • managing medication
  • managing seizures
  • lifestyle adjustment

This course promotes a person centred approach towards the management of seizures and is based on advice received from the National Society for Epilepsy. The content includes: definitions and terminologies associated with epilepsy; diagnosis, aetiology, medication, managing seizures; and lifestyle adjustment. Residential or domiciliary care workers who care for vulnerable people will benefit from the client centred approach towards this course.
